CCI Contractors is looking for a dependable English/Spanish Translator who is also willing to work alongside our construction crews as a General Laborer. This is not an office-only translation position. The right candidate will spend part of the day translating between English- and Spanish-speaking team members and the rest of the day assisting with general construction labor as needed.
Responsibilities:
Translate verbal communication between English- and Spanish-speaking employees and supervisors. Help ensure work instructions and safety information are clearly understood. Perform general labor tasks on active commercial construction projects. Assist with jobsite cleanup, material handling, and other duties as assigned. Work as part of the crew while maintaining a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
Qualifications:
Fluent in both English and Spanish (spoken, reading, and writing). Ability to communicate clearly and accurately with workers and supervisors. Able to perform physical labor, including lifting, bending, standing, and working outdoors. Reliable transportation to the jobsite. Construction experience is preferred but not required-we will train the right person. This is a project-based, full-time position expected to last through the completion of the current project.
