Responsible for conducting second reviews of incomplete packages and accounts with impending foreclosure dates, the full-time remote Loss Mitigation Document Specialist will oversee quality reviews of Document Specialists I and II while assisting them as needed based on workflow demands.
Key responsibilities:
Review incoming documents and maintain accurate records of missing items from borrowers
Communicate with various teams regarding file statuses and ensure compliance with established timelines
Conduct quality reviews of documentation uploaded by Document Specialists and provide coaching opportunitiesRequired qualifications:1-2 years of experience as a Loss Mitigation Document Specialist II or equivalent experience and training
Some college education or an Associate's Degree preferred
Proficiency in Excel and Adobe Acrobat, with knowledge of various file formats
Familiarity with mortgage and financial documents
Ability to read and interpret business journals, financial reports, and legal documents
