Sigma Automate is looking for a hands-on, customer-facing Technical Account Manager to join our early-stage enterprise software team. We work with large organizations in healthcare, financial services, and other complex IT environments. We’re looking for someone who can help us turn new customers into successful, long-term relationships.
What You’ll Do:
You’ll work directly with our CEO, COO, CTO, customers, and prospects across the customer lifecycle:
Lead technical onboarding: help new customers get Sigma into production, including connectivity, firewall, integration, configuration, and initial troubleshooting.
Work directly with enterprise IT teams: build relationships with infrastructure engineers, architects, IT leaders, and executives.
Support new customer sales: join discovery sessions, technical demos, evaluations, POCs, and customer meetings alongside our CEO and COO.Spend time in the field: travel regularly to customer and prospect locations for technical workshops, onboarding, relationship development, and sales engagements.
Own customer success: stay close to existing customers, drive adoption, support renewals, and identify expansion opportunities.
Be the voice of the customer: bring customer feedback, requirements, and new use cases directly to our CTO and product team.
Help build the playbook: shape the onboarding, technical account management, and customer success processes we'll use as Sigma grows.
Who We’re Looking ForWe’re looking for a senior-level individual contributor who combines technical depth with strong customer skills.
You may currently be a Technical Account Manager, Solutions Engineer, Sales Engineer, Solutions Architect, Customer Success Engineer, or Professional Services Engineer.
You should be comfortable moving from an executive customer meeting or dinner to a hands-on technical session troubleshooting an infrastructure issue.
Experience with enterprise infrastructure, cloud, virtualization, VDI, networking, Windows, VMware/Omnissa, Azure/AWS, APIs, or IT automation is especially relevant.
Regular travel is expected, particularly during this stage of the company.
Grow With UsThis is an individual contributor role today, but it has significant room to grow.
As Sigma expands, we’ll build teams around customer success, solutions engineering, onboarding, and technical account management. The right person will have the opportunity to help build those functions and potentially lead them.
