Legal Aid DC is seeking a Summer Intern to join the Public Benefits Law Unit for Summer 2027. The internship offers substantive assignments with immediate impact on clients, including research and drafting support, client communications, and aid in evaluating benefits such as Unemployment Insurance, Social Security, SNAP, TANF, Medicaid, and DC HealthCare Alliance.
Interns will work primarily from our NW DC office with some remote work possible, and may travel locally for summer programming
