Responsibilities: Provide professional hair cutting, styling, coloring, and texturing services using current techniques and trends Maintain high standards of sanitation and sterilization in accordance with industry regulations Offer expert advice on hair care products, retail items, and upselling opportunities to earn commission Communicate effectively with clients to understand their desired looks and provide personalized recommendations Assist with front desk duties including client check-in/out, appointment confirmations, and maintaining a welcoming environment Mentor junior team members and support store management in daily operations to foster a collaborative team atmosphere Skills Extensive experience working in the beauty industry with proficiency in hair styling, coloring, and barbering techniques Expertise in hair care treatments, including the use of color theory for customized coloring solutions Skilled in hair extensions application, hair threading, makeup application, nail care, and eyelash extensions Excellent communication skills for client consultations and building lasting relationships Ability to perform sanitation procedures diligently to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff Retail sales acumen with experience in upselling products such as hair care items and cosmetics Store management skills including front desk operations, mentoring staff, and inventory control Familiarity with retail math for calculating product pricing and sales transactions
