Your Impact in the Practice: Provide attentive chairside assisting and four-handed dentistry support during preventive, restorative, crown, temporary crown, surgical, dental implant, and other general dentistry procedures. Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, materials, and patients so the clinical schedule runs smoothly and efficiently. Capture diagnostic digital X-rays while following radiation safety, infection control, and patient-comfort standards. Assist with preventive care, including preparing materials and supporting the delivery of fluoride treatments as directed by the dentist. Support patient comfort during procedures, including monitoring and assisting with nitrous oxide sedation in accordance with office protocols and applicable regulations. Support accurate patient charting, treatment planning documentation, sterilization, and organized clinical workflows. Help patients feel welcomed and informed by communicating clearly, answering routine questions, and offering reassurance throughout their visits. Anticipate the dentist's needs and collaborate with teammates to deliver the friendly, high-quality care patients deserve.
What You Bring:
You have chairside assisting experience and understand the pace, precision, and teamwork needed in a family dental office.
You demonstrate dependable knowledge of sterilization procedures, infection control practices, and clinical room turnover.
You maintain accurate patient charts and bring strong attention to detail when supporting treatment documentation.
You bring a positive attitude, professional communication skills, a strong work ethic, and a sincere commitment to patient care.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience as a Registered Dental Assistant, Certified Dental Assistant, or Expanded Functions Dental Assistant is valued.
Experience supporting dental implants, fluoride treatments, nitrous oxide sedation, Eaglesoft, coronal polishing, dental prophylaxis, orthodontics, crowns, temporary crowns, or oral surgery is a plus.
Previous dental office experience is helpful, though motivated candidates with an eagerness to learn are encouraged to apply.
