The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis Visiting Artist Program Deadline: 11/17/2026
We are pleased to share that the application for The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis Visiting Artist Program (June 2027 – May 2028) is now open! The Children’s Museum is recruiting exceptional visual artists with ties to Indiana who have demonstrated exceptional interest and/or experience in exhibiting, presenting, and teaching about their art with children and families.

The 2027-2028 Visiting Artist stipend will be $28,000 for the 12-month period from June-May, paid out in equal quarterly payments.
The Visiting Artist Program is a project of the Lechleiter Indiana Visiting Artist Fund with support provided by The White Oak Foundation, Sarah and John Lechleiter.
