TravelNurseSource is working with Concentric Healthcare Staffing to find a qualified ER/Trauma RN in Long Beach, California, 90813!Job Title Registered Nurse – Emergency Room LocationLong Beach, CA | Acute Care Schedule / Job Type Contract | 12-Hour Mid Shifts | Every Other Weekend Required | Holiday Rotation with Core StaffKey Responsibilities Provide direct patient care in a high-volume Emergency Department seeing approximately 40–160 patients per day across a 26-bed unit with a 5-bed fast track area Manage patient ratios of 3:1 to 4:1, caring for adult and pediatric populations ranging from minor complaints to trauma in a Level 2 Trauma Center Perform all lab draws independently; no IV team on site Read and interpret cardiac monitor strips independently at the RN monitor station — no monitor techs available Operate within a STEMI and CVA receiving center environment, managing patients with complex and critical presentations including ventilator-dependent patients Collaborate with ED physicians, mid-level providers, Respiratory Therapy (24/7), and Pharmacy (24/7) to deliver comprehensive emergency care
