About Us:
Accessible Community is an organization focused on breaking down barriers and promoting the inclusion of people with disabilities. We are a volunteer run non-profit that nurtures disability-inclusive communities by helping small organizations become accessible, people with disabilities find accessible organizations, and emerging experts grow their experience.
Role:
We are looking for volunteer graphic artists who can create social media graphics with a consistent look and feel. The ideal volunteer will be a good communicator with an eye for detail who can collaborate with our writers to develop high quality graphics. They will have experience using Canva and use this as the primary way to create graphics that the team can use to accompany posts across our social media platforms. Why Volunteer With Us? This is a chance to build your portfolio, collect volunteer hours while working towards a meaningful goal, and help create more accessible communications. If you believe everyone deserves to have their stories heard — and you want to help make that happen — we want to meet you. Accessible Community is committed to building a diverse and inclusive team. People with disabilities and individuals from all backgrounds are strongly encouraged to apply. This is a great opportunity for high school and college students looking to build experience through impactful volunteer work as well as adults looking to give back through their graphics skills.
