Reading Interventionist

What you will be doing: Design and deliver virtual small-group and one-on-one reading intervention sessions for students in grades 3–8 Use reading assessment data to target fluency and comprehension gaps and adjust instruction quickly Differentiate activities across multiple reading levels, including support for dyslexia and related reading difficulties Track progress in a clear, consistent way and use the data to plan the next sessions Run structured motivation check-ins that build confidence, persistence, and pride in growth What you will NOT be doing Teach large, whole-class lessons or lecture from a fixed curriculum Follow a pre-scripted program without adapting to student needs and real-time feedback Act as a passive “software monitor” without meaningful instruction and connection Rely on shallow rewards that do not build lasting motivation
