81 & Sunny is a data-driven digital advertising firm. We partner with scrappy brands to strategize and manage digital campaigns that drive real business outcomes — blending sharp strategy, data-driven media buying, and analytical rigor. We're a small, senior team that values quality over quantity — the kind of work that changes the game for our clients. We take businesses with strong foundations and add rocket fuel.
The Role:
We're hiring a Senior Paid Media Manager to own a portfolio of established B2B lead-generation accounts end to end — strategy, campaign builds, optimization, reporting, and the client relationship. You'll manage roughly $150K in monthly media across Google Ads (our primary channel), LinkedIn, Meta, Microsoft Ads, and programmatic display, and you'll be the day-to-day lead your clients trust to explain what's happening in their accounts and what we're doing about it.
This is a senior, hands-on role for someone who has done this before and doesn't need the playbook written for them. You'll report directly to our founder, work alongside our Director of Paid Media (who is focused on a wave of newly onboarded accounts), and partner with our technical and analytics team on tracking and attribution. Above all, we're looking for analytical depth: someone who finds the story in the data, forms a point of view, and can explain and defend it in a client meeting.
What You'll Do:
Own a book of client accounts — serve as the strategic and day-to-day lead for a set of established B2B accounts totaling $150K/month in managed media, keeping them healthy, growing, and happy.
Run the client relationship — lead weekly or biweekly performance calls, monthly reporting, and QBRs; translate optimizations and results into clear recommendations clients understand and act on.
Build and launch new campaigns across Google Ads, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Meta Ads Manager, Microsoft Ads, and programmatic display (AdRoll, TTD, 6sense, etc.) — including working through a backlog of LinkedIn and programmatic builds for recently onboarded clients.
Own optimization end to end: bidding, keyword and audience strategy, creative rotation, A/B testing, budget pacing, and lead quality — tied back to client KPIs and pipeline, not just platform metrics.
Analyze performance and surface insights in Looker Studio, GA4, and platform reporting; build and maintain client dashboards; spot what's working, what isn't, and what to do next.
Speak fluently about attribution — understand how leads flow from campaigns into HubSpot and Salesforce so you can discuss performance intelligently with clients (our technical team owns the setup; you own the conversation).
Develop media plans and budgets aligned to client goals, and make proactive recommendations on channel mix, spend, and testing roadmaps.
Lift the team around you — occasionally coach a junior specialist on platform best practices and analysis. This isn't a management role, but your experience should make the people around you better.
Stay ahead of the platforms — new ad products, privacy/measurement changes, attribution models, and emerging channels.
What You Bring 5+ years of hands-on paid media experience, including at least 3 years managing B2B lead-generation accounts at an agency or in-house.
Deep Google Ads expertise (search is our largest channel) plus direct experience in LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Meta, Microsoft Ads, and programmatic DSPs are strong pluses.
A track record of owning client relationships — you've led recurring performance calls, handled the tough questions, and kept accounts for the long haul.
Real analytical depth — comfortable in spreadsheets, pivot tables, and Looker Studio; able to go beyond reporting the numbers to explaining why they moved and what to do next.
Working knowledge of GA4, conversion tracking, UTM hygiene, and how lead and attribution data flows into CRMs like HubSpot and Salesforce.
A self-starter who thrives with autonomy — you're proactive, organized, and can ramp quickly on new accounts without hand-holding.
Excellent written and verbal communication; confident presenting to clients and explaining the 'why' behind the numbers.
Bonus points for: Google Ads / Meta certifications, experience with 6sense or other ABM platforms, HubSpot or Salesforce reporting experience, or time at a small agency where you wore several hats.
Compensation & Location Total target compensation: $120,000 ($95,000 base salary + $25,000 performance-based commission).
