Neurosurgery Advanced Practitioner

Join the Ayer Neuroscience Institute’s 24/7 advanced practice team at St. Vincent’s Medical Center. Provide inpatient and ICU neurosurgical care, evaluate patients throughout the hospital, assist in cranial and spine procedures, and support neuroendovascular cases in collaboration with neurosurgeons and experienced advanced practitioners. Manage neurosurgical spine and cranial patients in ICU and inpatient floor settings. Conduct intake histories and physicals, progress notes, consultations, and postoperative management. Plan patient discharges and perform neurosurgical evaluations throughout the hospital, including the Emergency Department. First assist in emergent and elective cranial and spine procedures in the operating room. Participate in interventional radiology coverage for neuroendovascular cases. Support emergency and elective neurosurgical care across the service line.
