Texas is where most of your freight lands on this dedicated Family Dollar fleet in Oklahoma, with the rest going to Kansas, Arkansas, Louisiana and Mississippi. It is a good fit for CDL-A drivers who like to stay active on the job.
You will unload freight at the stores using rollers, so the work keeps you moving between drives. Each week ends with a trip home for a 34 hour rest.
Your Typical Week:
- On average 2-3 loads per week2-6 stops per load
- Drivers average 1600 miles per week
- You unload freight at each stop using rollers
- Delivery Area:
- Generally, 75% of freight delivers in TXThe other 25% goes to surrounding states, including KS, AR, LA and MS
Home Time: Home weekly for a 34 hour rest
Equipment: Sleeper trucks with automatic transmissions53' dry trailers

Pay Details:
- Layover 24 hours - $200 per day
- Breakdown 24 hours - $200 per day
- Training - Retraining Pay - $200 per day
- Backhaul Pickup - $25 per load
- St George backhaul pickup - $15 per load, $15 for Dunnage
- Mentor pay - $50 per day - $250 per week
- Mentor Road Test - $50 per road test
- Clean DOT Inspection - $25 Safe and On Time Bonus - Up to 3% WeeklyPay per mile (CPM)
- Holiday Sign-On Bonus - $1,000 Load pay
Requirements:
Valid Class A CDL21 years of age or older 3+ months of recent Class A CDL experience
