Business Development Representative – $85K to $90K Base + Uncapped Commission – Water-Reuse Infrastructure – New York City (Hybrid) – Clear Path to AE RoleRevsUp represents a fast-scaling, PE-backed provider of water-reuse-as-a-service infrastructure that transforms wastewater into a renewable resource for industrial leaders like food, beverage, and manufacturing firms. This 64-employee, PE-backed firm ($200 million growth equity commitment from Pennybacker, plus a $150 million credit facility from ING Capital), which operates 35+ plants and is preparing to deploy $120M in capital in 2026, is hiring an entry-level Business Development Representative to generate and qualify leads for $10M to $15M CapEx deals. The role is based out of their New York City office and reports to the manager of the BDR team. Solution A fast-scaling, PE-backed water-reuse infrastructure company designs, finances, and operates water treatment systems that turn industrial wastewater into a renewable asset. Their pay-per-gallon model eliminates upfront CapEx and enables companies to dramatically reduce costs, risk, and environmental impact. As regulations tighten and sustainability mandates increase, the company’s solutions are redefining how manufacturers handle water, offering a modern path forward in an outdated infrastructure market. RoleEntry-level BDR seat on a four-person team (two BDRs and two Senior BDRs), reporting to the manager of the BDR team; hybrid from NYC with up to 30% travel for training, site visits, and team events.$85K to $90K base (Senior BDRs earn $100K to $110K) plus uncapped commissions: $3K per Qualified Opportunity and $4K per signed MOU, with accelerators. The company’s top BDR is on track to earn about $210K this year. The 2026 quota is 12 Qualified Opportunities per year (16 for Senior BDRs). You are paid on qualified projects, not booked meetings: you gather site data and work with the company’s modeling team to confirm a real deal. This is a junior AE role, not smile-and-dial: BDRs sit in on pitches, join site visits, and get paid when the AE signs the deal. This is a career-launching role: the company plans to fill every AE seat from this pipeline, and top AEs earn $600K+.The titles you will call into include wastewater operators, plant managers, and engineers at industrial facilities in beverage, food, refining, data centers, steel, and mining, within a defined territory of assigned U.S. states. Ideal candidates have up to 18 months of SDR/BDR experience, comfort with numbers (qualifying involves light modeling), and a passion for rip-and-replace sales motions. Fast process: Teams interviews with the HR Director and with the manager of the BDR team (often joined by the CRO), plus an in-office conversation with two BDR peers. Culture Rick Garrison, then Plant Manager at ADM’s Vineland, NJ facility: “The WEPA solution was a game-changer. It allowed us to achieve compliance without the massive capital outlay and eliminated the burden of wastewater management.”The CRO on the seat: “They’re truly not just smiling and dialing. It really is a junior AE type role.”A team that wins together: reps share what is working on calls in real time instead of competing, and everyone gets Sandler training and certification, paid for by the company. Water is front-page news: the company’s pipeline includes a major data center water-reuse project, and the conversation is far easier than it was 18 months ago. Modern, well-funded stack: HubSpot, Nooks, ZoomInfo, and enterprise Claude, ChatGPT, and Copilot. If you find a tool that helps, leadership will buy it. The new CEO, a 30+ year industrial water and wastewater veteran, took the helm in February 2026 with a mandate to scale. Employees: 64 Headquarters: Houston, TX, with an office in New York City Official Job Description We are hiring Business Development Representatives (BDRs) to drive pipeline growth and qualify new opportunities for the company’s advanced sales team.
