Contract PositionISO Workforce Alliance is seeking a dedicated Elementary Special Education Teacher to support a self-contained classroom in the Dorchester, SC area (29477). This role is ideal for an educator experienced in supporting students with intellectual disabilities and moderate to severe needs in a structured classroom environment.
Position Overview:
- Elementary self-contained classroom
- Develop and implement IEPs aligned with student goals
- Provide differentiated instruction and individualized support
- Collaborate with related service providers, paraprofessionals, and families
- Maintain compliance with state and district documentation requirements
Qualifications:
- South Carolina Special Education Multi-Categorical certification
- Experience in self-contained or mod/severe settings preferred
- Strong classroom management and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage caseload and maintain compliance timelines
