APPLYLog-In Technician Looking for a full-time seasonal opportunity with steady weekday hours? We're hiring a Log-In Technician in Kearney to help keep customer samples organized and moving efficiently through the lab.
Location: Kearney, NE
Pay: $16.50/hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday, typically 8:00 or 8:30 AM-5:00 PM; hours may vary
Position: Full-time, seasonal through the end of the year
What You'll Do:
This position offers a mix of computer work, organization, customer interaction and hands-on responsibilities.
Approximately 70% of your time will be spent in the log-in room:
- Organizing incoming customer samples
- Assigning lab numbers and entering information
- Performing data entry and working in Excel
- Helping ensure samples are accurately tracked and ready for testing
- Assisting customers as needed
- Approximately 30% of your time will involve working outdoors:
- Moving customer samples to and from an outside storage unit
- Keeping stored samples organized
- Retrieving samples when they are needed in the lab
- Lifting and handling samples weighing up to 50 pounds
What We're Looking For:
The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, and comfortable balancing computer-based tasks with physical work. Previous experience with Excel, data entry, organization or customer service is preferred.
You must be comfortable working outside in varying weather conditions and able to lift up to 50 lbs.
