Job Description:
Apex is currently looking for the right individual to begin their career with Apex and grow with us. This is an entry level position.
Job Overview:- Examine contents of all packages and compare with records, such as packing slips, manifests, invoices or orders to verify accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments
- Receive, Pick and Pack through P21 System
- Distribute parts to various departments
- Pack, seal and label material to ship standard UPS packages in a timely manner
- Freight shipments to be skidded, wrapped, bound
- Contact carrier representatives to issue instructions for shipping of larger items
- Keep shipping and receiving area in order and clean at the end of every day
- Unload and load trucks via forklift
Inventory Control – including weekly cycle counts, organizing product, P21 bin adjustment and maintenance, etc.
Maintenance of Forklifts
Maintenance of Floor Scrubber
Continually looking for better business processes to improve current standard processes or to provide excellent customer support
Provide assistance to other employees in a courteous and professional manner as required
Assist with any other projects as needed to better serve customers and fellow team members
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
Must have a valid and current Illinois Driver’s License through employment
Must be Dependable & Prompt
