Job Description:
We are seeking a Master Mechanic to serve as a master technician in a dealership service department. This role will regularly handle complex and specialized repairs while delivering accurate diagnostics, dependable vehicle service, and high-quality workmanship.
Responsibilities:
Perform vehicle diagnostics and use diagnostic scan tools to identify complex issues.
Repair and service engines, brake systems, transmissions, and electrical systems.
Conduct preventive maintenance and safety inspections.
Coordinate parts requirements for vehicle repairs and service.
Document diagnostic findings, repairs, and completed service work.
Mentor technicians and support technical problem-solving.
Maintain compliance with applicable safety practices and service standards.
Required Qualifications:
At least 2 years of experience in automotive repair.
ASE Master Automobile Technician certification.
Knowledge of automotive diagnostics and Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) standards.
Proficiency in engine repair, brake systems, and transmission systems.
Knowledge of automotive electrical systems and mechanical troubleshooting.
Experience using diagnostic scan tools.
Understanding of safety compliance requirements.
Strong technical communication skills.
