Hybrid Support Scientist: Operational Wave Modeling & AI

Lynker Corporation seeks a Support Scientist for Operational Wave Modeling Development to accelerate RWPS readiness for the NWS. The role blends research, development, and operations, emphasizing AI/ML integration, coastal processes, and system-wide testing in a hybrid DC Metro setting (2 days in College Park, MD, 3 days remote). You will work with interagency partners to evaluate models, run HPC simulations with MPI/OpenMP/Slurm, and contribute to real-time wave forecasts.
