The National Bank of Indianapolis is seeking a Vice President & Commercial Banker to join our Commercial Banking team. In this role, youll develop and manage a portfolio of commercial banking relationships, deliver thoughtful credit solutions, and connect clients with resources across the Bank while representing The National Bank of Indianapolis in the community. How Youll Contribute Develop new commercial banking relationships and expand existing relationships through consistent outreach and exceptional serviceManage a portfolio of commercial loans with a focus on credit quality, profitability, growth, and client needsAnalyze borrower financial performance, repayment capacity, and collateral to make sound credit decisionsMonitor loan performance and maintain regular contact with clients to identify needs and address potential concernsPrepare and present commercial loan requests in accordance with Bank policies and regulatory requirementsEnsure loans are properly documented and risk ratings remain accurate throughout the relationshipPartner with Treasury Management and other areas of the Bank to provide comprehensive financial solutionsCultivate relationships with clients and prospects through regular contact, events, and follow-upPromote the Bank in the community through active involvement in community activities and civic organizations What Were Looking For Bachelors degree in business or banking, or equivalent educational experienceFive or more years of successful lending and business development experienceProven middle market lending knowledge; formal commercial credit training preferredKnowledge of applicable banking laws and regulationsProven ability to develop and maintain strong client relationshipsExcellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills with a high degree of professionalismActive involvement in community and civic activitiesProficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and other standard business applications
