Line Operator - 2nd Shift

Line Operator Doherty Staffing Solutions is hiring Line Operators for a fishing line manufacturing company in Spirit Lake, Iowa. In this role, youll set up, adjust, and operate multiple spooler machines while helping produce quality fishing line. Set up, adjust, and operate multiple spooler machines for continuous production Select the appropriate spooler and materials for production orders Monitor equipment and adjust level winds and elevator speeds as needed Check supply spools, fishing line, and weights to ensure quality requirements are met Load and position supply spools and return empty spools to designated pallets Enter completed production data into the computer and stage products for the next step Maintain a clean, organized work area and support continuous improvement initiatives High school diploma or GED, 13 months of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience Mechanical aptitude and ability to make minor machine adjustments Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions Basic math skills, including calculations using units of weight Ability to use an Object List to determine appropriate production materials Ability to lift up to 25 pounds Good judgment and basic problem-solving skills Enjoy weekly pay, access to health coverage options through Benefits in a Card (including preventative and minimum value plans), and temp-to-hire opportunities for long-term stability where applicable.
