Geriatric Registered Nurse

Erickson Senior Living is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to provide high-quality clinical care to seniors within our continuing care campus. In this role, you’ll deliver skilled nursing services, perform assessments, administer medications and treatments, and coordinate individualized care plans across independent living, assisted living, memory care, and skilled nursing. You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, educate residents and families, and promote safety and wellbeing. Provide direct nursing care to senior residents in assisted living, memory care, and skilled nursing settings Complete comprehensive assessments and monitor changes in residents’ conditions Administer medications, treatments, and therapies per provider orders and facility protocols Develop, implement, and update individualized care plans in collaboration with the care team Document care and assessments accurately in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) Educate residents and families on health conditions, medications, and self-care strategies Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other disciplines to coordinate holistic care Support fall prevention, infection control, and other safety and quality initiatives Precept and mentor new staff, nursing assistants, and students as needed Participate in care conferences, quality improvement projects, and regulatory compliance activities Patient assessment Medication administration Care planning and coordination Wound care management IV therapy and infusion skills Electronic Health Records (EHR) documentation Infection prevention and control Geriatric nursing care Patient and family education Clinical triage and prioritization Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Active RN license in state of practice Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred Geriatric or long-term care experience preferred IV therapy certification preferred
