Pay Rate: $20–$30/hour, based on experience
Overview:
Our client is an employee-owned company that sells, installs, and services commercial and industrial doors and loading dock equipment for manufacturers across Northeast Ohio and Western Pennsylvania. Its door business has grown, and the company is adding a Service Coordinator to support it. The Service Coordinator will work directly with the Door Products Manager, handling quote support for general contractors, lead management in Salesforce, and shipment tracking from order to delivery. The role does not include dispatching, technician scheduling, or on-call duties. This is a newly created position, and it is designed to grow into a door sales role. The role is a strong fit for someone with office experience at a contractor, field-service company, equipment dealer, or building products distributor, such as HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or overhead door. What the Service Coordinator will own: Administrative and coordination support for the Door Products Manager across the full commercial and industrial door line Quote support for general contractors: reviewing project drawings and identifying the door equipment called for, such as high-speed, rolling steel, sectional, and fire-rated doors Managing incoming sales leads in Salesforce, assessing each one and assigning it to the right member of the sales team Coordinating and tracking equipment shipments from order through delivery Keeping orders, records, and documentation accurate and current across Salesforce and the company's accounting system Serving as the connection point between the sales team in the office and the operations team in the field Learning the door product line inside and out, building the foundation for a future door sales role Compensation & Perks$20–$30/hour, based on experience — full-time, hourly
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:30 PM, fully onsite

Requirements:
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills — this role runs on accuracy
- Working proficiency in Excel
- Salesforce or comparable CRM experience strongly preferred
- A steady work history
- A team-first attitude, a genuine willingness to learn, and a positive, solutions-minded outlook
- High school diploma or GED required; a college degree is not required
Titles that translate: Service Coordinator, Office Coordinator, Sales Coordinator, Customer Service Representative, Parts Coordinator, Order Coordinator, Project Coordinator, Inside Sales Assistant — especially at contractors, field-service companies, equipment dealers, or building products distributors.
Nice to have:
- Office experience at a contractor, field-service company, equipment dealer, or building products distributor
- Door, loading dock, HVAC, mechanical, electrical, or construction industry knowledge
- Experience reading construction drawings, plans, or specifications
- Quoting, estimating, parts, or order management experience
- Familiarity with Salesforce-based accounting tools or field service management software
- Background check and drug screening required.
This is not a remote position — this role is fully onsite at our client's office in the Cleveland eastern suburbs. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
