The Accounts Receivable position will oversee cash applications for 1,000+ home loans and collections to ensure accounts are current. This position offers a unique blend of cash applications, collections, and accounts payable duties as well as assisting the supervisor with month-end reconciliation and month-end reporting.
Compensation:
$22.00 - $26.00 Hourly Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Vacation and Sick, 401K Possible Schedules :
Monday to Friday from 6:30 am to 3:30 pm
Monday to Friday from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm
Responsibilities:
Responsible for home loan cash applications
Responsible for collections.
Responsible for some accounts payable.
Maintenance of new loans, including reviewing documents for accuracy and completion.
Generation and processing of welcome letters, statements, and past-due notices.
Assist in establishing manageable payment plans for past-due accounts.
Assist with month-end closing including bank reconciliation and monthly reporting to management for multiple companies.
Assist with year-end preparation.
Job Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years of payables, receivables, or general accounting experience required
AA in Accounting and/or strong understanding of accounting principles
Spanish speaking required
Excel skills - intermediate to advance
