At Tama Veterinary Hospital, we are a dedicated general practice and urgent care facility committed to exceptional veterinary care. Are you or someone you know in search of a distinctive medical facility that combines comprehensive services with the intimate atmosphere of an independently owned establishment? Look no further! We pride ourselves on fostering strong partnerships with veterinarians, creating a collaborative environment that promotes a sense of part ownership in the care we provide. Our carefully drafted schedule promotes a healthy work-life balance, accommodating our veterinarians' needs while allowing them to engage with a diverse and challenging caseload. We handle more complex cases than typical local practices, offering in-house diagnostics, ultrasound, and CT imaging. Candidates will encounter a vast spectrum of cases, ranging from routine wellness checks for adorable puppies to urgent emergencies. Our strong support system, with 2-4 Vet Techs per doctor on staff, ensures that our veterinarians have the assistance they need. We prioritize professional growth and are highly supportive of advanced training. In addition to a standard Continuing Education (CE) allowance, we cover the costs for extra training in specialized areas such as acupuncture/Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine (TCVM) (dry needling, food therapy, herbal medicine), surgeries (ACL repairs, long bone fractures, TPLO, TECABO, perineal urethrostomy, MPL surgeries, FHO surgeries, C-sections), and advanced imaging techniques. This commitment to the development of our veterinarians sets us apart. Voted "Best of Milpitas" for 10 years, we prioritize compassionate care and client education, guided by our core value, "We work with the heart of a teacher." Our client satisfaction surveys reflect our commitment to excellence in veterinary medicine.
