Key Responsibilities: Conduct therapeutic sessions ethically and compassionately through secure video chat platforms, ensuring a safe space for clients to share their thoughts and feelings. Utilize solution-based treatment modalities to tailor individual care plans, helping clients address specific challenges with effective strategies. Design comprehensive treatment plans based on thorough assessments to meet the unique needs and goals of each client. Facilitate insight development in clients regarding their experiences, emotions, and relationships, promoting their growth and emotional resilience. Monitor client progress, adapting treatment plans as necessary, and assist clients in cultivating healthy coping mechanisms that can be utilized outside of their therapy sessions. Patient Population / Client FocusYour primary focus will be on stable adults experiencing low-acuity mental health issues. This typically includes clients dealing with mild anxiety, stress, adjustment difficulties, and relationship challenges. As a mental health counselor, you will play a crucial role in enhancing their coping mechanisms and overall mental wellness, thus significantly impacting their daily lives.

Qualifications: A Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a closely related field is required. A current mental health therapist license is mandatory (LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW), or eligibility for licensure in California. Experience in providing remote therapy via teletherapy platforms is preferred, though a willingness to learn new technologies is acceptable. Exceptional communication skills and the ability to establish rapport and trust with clients in a virtual setting. A commitment to cultural competence and the provision of inclusive care to clients from various backgrounds.

Preferred Experience: Prior experience working with diverse populations, especially in a remote setting, will be advantageous. Familiarity with various therapeutic techniques and methodologies tailored for teletherapy. Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems and counselor portals will facilitate your transition into our organization.
