Vigilant Healthcare Solutions is seeking a Board-Certified Anesthesiologist to join a collaborative and highly respected medical team. This is a long-term locum/travel opportunity in a modern, well-equipped clinical environment where patient safety and quality of care are top priorities. The physician will provide comprehensive anesthesia services across a high-volume surgical setting, working alongside an experienced multidisciplinary team with a focus on urology and neuro/spine cases.
Responsibilities:- Administer general, regional, and monitored anesthesia care across surgical specialties
- Provide pre-operative assessments and develop individualized anesthetic plans
- Monitor patient vitals and respond to changes during surgical procedures
- Manage post-anesthetic recovery and coordinate with OR and recovery teams
- Collaborate with surgeons and clinical staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to facility protocols and standards
Qualifications:- Board Certification in Anesthesiology (MD or DO)
- Active Maryland state medical license (or ability to obtain)
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Experience in urology and/or neuro/spine anesthesia strongly preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills in a fast-paced OR environment
- ScheduleLocum/Travel45 days per week, 8-hour shifts
- Case mix: Urology (94%), Neuro/Spine (4%)
