Crouse's Pomeroy College of Nursing is accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN). The college offers a two-year associate's degree in applied science with a major in Nursing. The College of Nursing team is hiring an Adjunct Instructor to work per diem.
Pay Range: $51.94/hour.
Adjunct Instructor Position Responsibilities:
- Provides instruction for students enrolled in the Crouse Hospital College of Nursing
- Evaluates students in a classroom, laboratory and/or clinical setting.
- Adjunct faculty are expected to maintain regular, pre-planned contact with the semester chairs and/or nursing laboratory manager.
Adjunct Instructor Position Requirements:
A Bachelor's Degree in nursing is required; a Master's Degree in Nursing preferred. If a Master's Degree is not held at time of hire, the applicant must be enrolled in a Master's degree in nursing program with a degree completion plan in place upon hire.
Must hold current NYS licensure as a Registered Nurse and current CPR certification.
Three years of recent clinical experience required. Prior experience in teaching or precepting students preferred.
