Financial Advisor (RIA) (Pennington)

What if you could spend your time doing the work you actually became an advisor to do - building retirement plans, sitting across the table from prospects/clients, solving complex problems, and helping people feel confident about the next chapter of their lives? At Palante Wealth Advisors, that's the opportunity. We're looking for a Financial Advisor to join our growing team. We're an independent, fiduciary retirement planning firm in Pennington, NJ, focused on helping families lead a great life in retirement. Our planning philosophy is different from traditional wealth management: we start with the client's life, build income confidence first, and integrate investments, taxes, insurance, and estate planning into one coordinated plan. You will not be expected to build a book of business through cold calling or traditional prospecting. Instead, you'll take a leadership role in planning and client service, while also participating in sales meetings and helping prospective clients understand how the Palante Way can help them lead a great life into retirement.

There is NO cold calling. You won't be measured primarily by how many people you can convince to buy something. At Palante, advisors are guides - not product pushers or market predictors. Our job is to help clients gain clarity and feel secure enough to live well. You'll have the opportunity to develop as a true Financial Advisor while learning alongside the lead advisor/Founder. That means you'll be close to the client relationship while having the support, structure, and team environment to continue developing your skills. The Palante WayWe believe: Retirement is a transition, not an event. Income confidence comes before investment returns. Every dollar has a job. Clarity replaces guesswork. A great life in retirement is the real outcome. The plan needs to work even when life doesn't go according to plan. Our advisors don't rush clients. They don't pressure them. They don't "overcome objections."They listen. They ask good questions. They explain the why. They slow down when something isn't clear. And they follow through. You May Be a Great Fit If You...Have 3+ years of financial services experience, preferably within an RIA or comprehensive planning environment Enjoy retirement planning and working directly with prospects and clients Have strong analytical and financial planning skills Can take complicated information and explain it simply Are highly organized and have exceptional follow-through Take ownership rather than waiting to be told what to doAre comfortable participating in client and prospect meetings Can balance technical expertise with genuine empathy and curiosity Want to grow into a meaningful, long-term role within a growing firm Series 65 and Life & Health Insurance licenses are strongly preferred (or equivalent).
