Lumber Yard Associate

Lumber Yard Associate Creedmoor, NCAssists in maintaining lumber flow by stacking, stamping, cutting and banding lumber; orienting lumber to assure package appearance; and cleaning. Works with other laborers or machine operators to maximize output and product quality. Occasionally is expected to perform tasks individually with minimal supervision. Reports to a Department or Mill Manager. Packages lumber for shipment by stamping, stacking, stenciling, and banding lumber of various lengths (24" -16'). Cuts lumber using miter, chop, or hand-held circular saws. Visually inspects and orients lumber to meet targeted package appearance. Completes cleaning duties associated with work area and as assigned.
