SENIOR MANUFACTURING ENGINEERGreat opportunity for a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to work for a global manufacturing technology leader located in Phoenix, AZ.Our client is a high-tech facilities manufacturer looking for a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to be responsible for fabrication and assembly processes, continuous improvement, tooling, and manufacturing and plant layouts.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage process development projects, ensuring completion from start to finishSupport and/or lead product launch activitiesReview engineering specifications, process flows, and other information to understand methods and activities in manufacturing and servicesDefine how to manufacture parts or products, or deliver services, with maximum efficiencyDevelop quality control procedures to resolve production problems or minimize costsWork with customers and management to develop standards for design and productionConfer with clients regarding product specifications, vendors regarding purchases, management regarding manufacturing capabilities, and staff regarding project statusDevelop, recommend, and implement initiatives to improve production metrics and financial performanceDevelop manufacturing processes by studying product requirements and researching, designing, modifying, and testing manufacturing methods and equipmentAssure product and process quality by designing testing methods, testing finished-product and process capabilities, establishing standards, and confirming manufacturing processesProvide manufacturing decision-making information by calculating production, labor, and material costs; reviewing production schedules; and estimating future requirementsComplete design and development projects by training and guiding techniciansQUALIFICATIONSBachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, or relevant experienceAt least 5 years of manufacturing engineering experience in a similar manufacturing environment required
