Events Solutions Engineer Do you thrive in high-energy, fast-moving environments and love being where the action is? Are you passionate about helping customers deliver safer, smoother events? Join Evolv's Rental team as an Events Solutions Engineer supporting temporary rental opportunities of all sizes, from quick-turn, small-scale deployments to major, high-profile events. In this role, you'll travel to venues around the country, installing and striking systems, training venue staff and event-day operators, and supporting go-lives for concerts, games, festivals, conferences, and other temporary security screening needs. You'll support site surveys and pre-event planning activities, as well as certify and train partners who service the events space as needed. Evolv is a mission-driven company dedicated to making a real difference in society, protecting lives and improving experiences wherever people gather. In this role, you'll be the technical backbone of that mission on event day, bridging technical execution, customer confidence, and an exceptional guest and operator experience. You will help customers see and feel the value of Evolv's products by making deployments professional, reliable, and easy to adopt. Within the first 30 days, you'll certify, participate and qualify, and install independently. Between 30 days to three months, you'll build troubleshooting proficiency, training excellence, and go-live support. Between 3 to 6 months, you'll develop rental planning foundations and apply planning to deployments. Between 6 to 12 months, you'll learn and apply partner enablement processes and demonstrate field leadership. The work will involve deployment process, security planning and CONOPS development, training, and go-live support. You'll represent Evolv professionally on-site by creating a confident, calm, and high-quality customer experience before, during, and after each deployment. You'll help demonstrate the value of Evolv's products through reliable setup, clear operator training, strong event-day support, and practical guidance that helps customers see how Evolv improves safety, throughput, and the guest experience. Willingness to travel extensively, with up to 80% of time spent on the road, following the event calendar to venues across the United States. This role regularly requires weekend work, along with some nights, since most events—concerts, games, festivals—happen outside a standard Monday–Friday schedule. Ability to lift and position proprietary equipment, using safety gear and trained techniques for safe handling. Capability to stand and perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods. Reasonable accommodations will be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions. Develop an understanding of pre-event activities, including site surveys, event logistics, venue constraints, and customer success criteria, and how these inputs drive successful temporary rental deployments. Be prepared to assist with pre-event and presales tasks when needed, helping sales, rentals, operations, and event teams scope both small and large rental opportunities accurately and deliver a seamless customer experience. Maintain professional certifications across Evolv Express and Expedite systems. Demonstrate competency to resolve basic out-of-the-box issues during installation and configuration, ensuring smooth system activation before doors open. You will join the Evolv Rental team, focused on delivering on-demand, short-term system deployments that ensure customer success at events nationwide. As an Associate Solutions Engineer, Events, you will support temporary rental opportunities across the full spectrum, from smaller, quick-turn deployments to major events across sports, entertainment, conferences, festivals, and other live-event venues. The Evolv Rental team is dedicated to urgent, event-driven deployments that combine technical excellence, customer delight, and clear demonstration of Evolv's product value. The team works closely with the broader Go-To-Market organization, and this role reports to the Rental team's Operations Manager. This position is field-based, following the event calendar to venues across the country. Candidates located near a major airport hub are preferred, given the frequency of travel. The role requires a high degree of travel—up to 80%, including regular weekends—so flexibility is essential. The base salary range for this full-time position is $53,000 - $88,000. In addition to base salary, this role offers a competitive target bonus, equity, and a comprehensive benefits package. This range reflects our commitment to pay transparency and equity, in alignment with applicable state laws.
