What You Will Do:
Develop and maintain CMM programs for first article, in-process, and final inspections.
Program and operate Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM).Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T requirements.
Perform First Article Inspections (FAIs).Support Engineering and Quality by developing inspection methods and inspection documentation.
Maintain CMM equipment, probe qualifications, and program libraries.
Troubleshoot quality issues and recommend process improvements.
Train CMM operators and assist in developing work instructions.
Accurately complete inspection records and documentation.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with the following is highly preferred:
- Medical device manufacturingISO 13485FDA 21 CFR Part 820 SolidWorksERP systems
- First Article Inspection (FAI) documentation
Physical Requirements:
This position requires medium physical work, including lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally, standing and walking throughout the workday, and wearing required personal protective equipment, including safety glasses, hearing protection, and non-slip shoes. Applicants must have at least three (3) years of CMM programming experience and a strong understanding of GD&T to be considered for this position. These are minimum qualifications for the role.
