Senior Media Quality Analyst Epsilon powers connected marketing by unlocking the full potential of data and identity. The Senior Media Quality Analyst is responsible for ensuring a safe, equitable, and trusted advertising marketplace by protecting the global and platform-level foundation that supports quality across Epsilon media. This senior individual contributor leads deep internet traffic and inventory investigations, primarily using SQL, to detect, explain, and recommend action on issues related to brand safety, viewability, invalid traffic, non-human traffic, marketplace quality, and supply integrity. In this role, you'll own projects from definition through completion and help develop and maintain the data infrastructure, reporting, automation, visualizations, ingestion pipelines, and reusable controls that Media Quality teams rely on every day. You'll serve as a senior point of contact across Media Delivery, Inventory, Product, Platform, Engineering, Enterprise Operations, ad verification vendors, and Media Quality Specialists—aligning contributors, resolving critical issues, validating signals, documenting decisions, and translating complex quality data into clear recommendations for partners and leaders.
Responsibilities: Lead deep data investigations using SQL and internal tools to proactively identify, research, and explain ad quality trends and anomalies across brand safety, viewability, invalid traffic, non-human traffic, and inventory performance; present findings and recommendations to cross-functional partners and leaders. Own projects and collaborations with ad verification vendors and internal teams from initial requirements through testing, implementation, documentation, communication, and ongoing measurement, ensuring work remains aligned and actions are completed. Maintain and improve global quality controls, including exclusion lists, contextual category segments, marketplace packages, inventory audits, targeting channels, and other governed protections that help keep unsafe or low-quality supply out of client campaigns. Develop and maintain data ingestion and ETL pipelines, aggregations, SQL libraries, dashboards, automation tools, AI-enabled workflows, and repeatable process enhancements that improve efficiency across Media Quality and partner teams. Respond to critical issues involving digital advertising behavior, inventory, ad tags, verification data, or platform controls; assess impact, coordinate investigation, document evidence, and recommend practical corrective action. Perform recurring tests and inventory audits, recognize trends and anomalies, and lead enhancements to targeting, monitoring, reporting, and platform infrastructure. Contribute to the Media Quality knowledgebase, quarterly statistics, training materials, process documentation, and evidence required for MRC accreditation, industry audits, and internal governance. Mentor junior team members by providing technical guidance, sharing guidelines, reviewing analytical approaches and deliverables, and supporting their professional development and growing subject-matter expertise. Identify operational processes that can be streamlined or automated, communicate roadmaps and progress to collaborators, and provide guidance to analysts and partners through subject-matter expertise and documented guidelines.
Qualifications: Advanced analytical, data mining, and problem-solving skills, with demonstrated ability to identify trends, anomalies, root causes, and operational risks in complex data sets. Strong working knowledge of SQL for investigation, reporting, monitoring, and data-quality workflows, plus experience developing or maintaining automation, visualizations, data pipelines, or reusable analytical tools. Demonstrated project ownership, with the ability to translate descriptive requirements into a plan, coordinate contributors, manage dependencies, document decisions, and deliver work from inception through completion with limited direction. Working knowledge of digital media quality, brand safety, viewability, invalid traffic, non-human traffic, ad verification, inventory quality, and the programmatic advertising ecosystem, including publishers, exchanges, DSPs, SSPs, and RTB standards. High attention to detail and the organizational rigor to maintain reliable documentation, repeatable processes, governed controls, training resources, and audit-ready evidence. Ability to communicate technical findings clearly to business and technical audiences, lead cross-functional discussions, resolve issues, and turn complex quality signals into decisions, recommendations, and measurable improvements.
