Part-Time Admin & Shipping Assistant We are looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Part-Time Admin & Shipping Assistant to join our team. This position will support our growing retail order business and will be a great fit for someone who enjoys a mix of office, organization, and hands-on shipping tasks. The position will start at 23 days per week, with the potential to grow into a full-time opportunity.
What You'll Do: Office & Administrative Duties:
  • Answer phones and assist with general office needs
  • Receive and process incoming and outgoing mail
  • Filing and organizing paperwork
  • Light office cleaning
  • Order office supplies
  • Assist with general administrative tasks
  • Shipping & Inventory:
  • Process pick tickets and pull retail orders for shipment
  • Prepare and process new orders for shipment
  • Keep accurate records of orders shipped
  • Update warehouse inventory
  • Coordinate freight and shipping documents
  • Communicate with team members regarding shipping and order details
  • Seed Test Management:
  • Track and file seed tests received from growers
  • Update company records
  • Retrieve seed test records weekly from the OSU website
What We're Looking For:
  • Basic experience with Microsoft ExcelStrong attention to detail
  • Organized and dependable
  • Comfortable learning new processes and systems
  • Ability to work independently and stay on top of multiple tasks
  • Previous shipping or warehouse experience is a plus, but not required we will train the right person
Schedule: Part-Time, approximately 23 days per week Pay: $18$23/hour, depending on experience Potential for Full-Time: This position may have the opportunity to grow into a full-time role as the business continues to grow.
