APPLY NOWSeeking a remote Aero Thermal Engineer, this full-time position will manage thermal and CFD analysis for gas turbine components, lead geometry development for analysis models, and prepare high-quality presentations of findings.
Key responsibilities:
Perform thermal and CFD analysis for gas turbine components and turbomachinery
Lead the development of geometry and mesh for analysis models, including model setup and analysis
Prepare and present reports on findings during formal technical reviewsRequired qualifications:4-8 years of experience in CFD Analysis, Aero-Thermal, and Secondary Airflow Systems
BS or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or equivalent
Familiarity with fluid dynamics and heat transfer theory
Experience with Star-CCM+, ANSYS Fluent, or CFX is highly preferred
Exposure to gas turbines is highly preferred
