Senior Industrial Designer Dallas, Texas, United StatesWe're seeking a talented Senior Industrial Designer to join a dynamic product development team. This role requires a passion for enhancing people's lives through product design and a hands-on approach to bringing innovative ideas to life. Product Design: Design products from concept to mass production, ensuring high standards of safety and quality. Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams, including junior designers, to shape product strategy and vision. Prototyping: Develop prototypes using various methods, including 3D printing and working with fabrication teams. Supplier Management: Work with offshore suppliers to bring products to mass production. Market Research: Conduct market research and analyze consumer trends to inform product design.
Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in Industrial Design or a recognized equivalent.
Experience:
Minimum 4-6 years of experience in a similar role designing quality consumer products. Advanced-level Solidworks CAD skills. Experience in design for manufacture, including plastic component design, steel fabrication, and textile development. Ability to work collaboratively and autonomously. An innovative thinker who can push boundaries and bring new ideas to the table. A designer with a modernist approach, demonstrating intuitive understanding of balance, line, proportion, color, and finish. Someone who is willing to travel overseas as required by the role. This is a full-time role, Monday-Friday, based in our Dallas office.
