Regional Sales Director, Midwest

Reports to: George Taylor, President and Chief Revenue Officer. You'll also work closely with our National Account Director on national programming, resets, and HQ decisions that touch the Midwest. About MingleMingle Mocktails and Mingle Mood are the #1 brand in non-alcoholic cocktails. We're redefining how people celebrate, socialize, and unwind with a full platform of premium, non-alcoholic cocktails and functional social beverages, and we're scaling fast across retail, distribution, and on-premise. We're building the regional sales team to match.

Position Overview: We just added a National Account Director to the team, who now owns our top national retail accounts and sets the strategy and calendar for those chains. That frees up our Regional Sales Directors to focus on growing the territory: win new accounts, run the wholesaler relationships, and grow the current business. We're hiring the Regional Sales Director for the Midwest. This role owns everything in the territory: new business, distributor execution, National Account regional execution and growing the current book, across retail, on-premise and independent accounts throughout the region. You'll work closely with the National Account Director whenever a national program (a reset, new distribution, a promo calendar) lands in the Midwest.

New Account Prospecting: Prospect retail and on-premise opportunities across the territory: regional chains, hotels, venues, restaurant groups, and the high-volume "big hit" accounts. Cold call and build relationships with key decision-makers; secure meetings and tastings. Maintain an active pipeline from first contact through close.

Wholesaler & Distributor Management: Own inventory, PO flow, and overall distributor health across the territory's wholesaler partners. Run monthly business reviews with our priority, high-volume states covering programming, POS, incentives, inventory, and target accounts. Run quarterly alignment meetings with secondary states. Build relationships with distributor middle management and sales leadership to multiply Mingle's reach through the wholesaler network. Conduct strategic ride-withs focused on priority accounts and execution.

Grow Existing Business: Monitor pricing, out-of-stocks, distribution, and account-level execution. Prepare for customer meetings and multiply yourself through the distributor's account management team. Identify incremental opportunities: new SKUs, new doors, displays, cold-box placements, jump balls and programming. Protect existing distribution while continually pushing for incremental growth. Stay ahead of what's next for each account and market.

How the Roles Work Together: Three roles work together here. The National Account Director plans the national account calendar and strategy. The Sales Analyst helps measure results, identify gaps and opportunities. The Regional Sales Director executes in-market and grows the territory. As Regional Sales Director, you'll work closely with the National Account Director as retailers execute resets and you'll work together to roll those plans out in the Midwest and make sure distributors are stocked and ready to execute.

Qualifications: 5+ years of CPG beverage sales experience, ideally spanning both retail and on-premise. Proven track record managing wholesaler and distributor relationships and driving execution through a three-tier system. Demonstrated success winning new accounts and growing existing distribution. Entrepreneurial, self-directed, and organized enough to own a full territory with minimal oversight. Based in or willing to be based in the Midwest, with the ability to travel extensively in-market. Passion for the non-alcoholic and functional beverage category.

What Success Looks Like: Territory revenue growth against plan. New account and new-door wins, retail and on-premise. Protection and expansion of existing distribution and velocity. A short, regular update on quick wins and what's next across the three areas above, so we have a clear read on how the territory's tracking.

What We Offer: Competitive base salary plus performance-based bonus tied to territory growth. Health, dental, and vision benefits. Paid vacation and holidays. Remote work flexibility, with regional travel. Full ownership of a territory, with real autonomy and you'll work directly with me. Be part of a category-leading brand revolutionizing the Adult Non-Alc space. Tap into a pool of talent with food & beverage experience. Reach our audience of 190,000 readers/month.
