Build enterprise relationships that grow from one deployment into fleets across sites and applications. BotCrew designs and manufactures Gravion, a modular robotic platform for construction and critical infrastructure. We build the hardware, software, and attachments, and deliver them through a Robotics-as-a-Service model. We’ve worked with more than 20 EPCs on projects ranging from 5 MW to 700 MW. Our next opportunity is to expand those relationships through broader fleet adoption, new applications, and long-term enterprise commitments. We’re hiring a Director of Customer Growth to own that expansion. This is a revenue-carrying leadership role for someone who has personally closed substantial enterprise contracts and knows how to turn field results into larger commercial agreements.
The opportunity:- A single customer relationship can span multiple projects, regions, and applications. You will connect the value delivered on individual sites to the people who make broader purchasing decisions.
- You’ll work directly with our founders and field and product teams. You will own a portfolio of enterprise accounts, carry retention and expansion targets, and build the account growth process as you execute it. As the portfolio grows, you will help recruit and lead the team supporting it.
- What you will own
- Enterprise account expansion
- Build and execute account plans that identify additional sites, applications, decision-makers, budgets, and purchasing timelines.
- Develop executive relationships while staying close to the operators and site leaders using our equipment.
- Establish multi-year, fleet-level lease agreements with committed spend and continuous leasing across customer project portfolios.
- Structure agreements that support moving robots between sites and expanding fleets and applications over time.
- Personally lead expansion deals from qualification through negotiation and signature.
- Customer value and retention
- Work with deployment and service teams to establish clear customer goals and confirm results.
- Document the labor, productivity, schedule, and financial outcomes that support broader commercial commitments.
- Own renewal strategy and grow the value and duration of customer relationships.
- Surface account risks early and coordinate action with the teams responsible.
- Commercial execution
- Carry defined retention and expansion revenue targets.
- Maintain an accurate account pipeline, renewal forecast, and record of customer commitments.
- Negotiate pricing and terms within agreed commercial parameters, with attention to margins and delivery capacity.
- Navigate procurement, legal review, budget approvals, and executive decisions to close business.
- Customer insight and team development
- Bring evidence of customer demand to product and engineering discussions, including the commercial opportunity behind requested applications.
- Develop customer references and case studies with customer permission.
- Establish repeatable account practices and recruit additional account coverage as the business requires.
Required experience:- A proven track record of personally negotiating and closing high-value, multi-year enterprise agreements, with committed spend across multiple sites or business units.
- Demonstrated success converting initial deployments into substantial recurring revenue.
- Direct ownership of a sales quota, with a record of consistently exceeding targets.
- Experience leading complex sales cycles involving operations, procurement, legal, finance, and executive decision-makers.
- Strong commercial judgment: you can build an ROI case, negotiate terms, defend pricing, and assess whether a deal makes economic sense.
- Experience selling robotics, industrial technology, construction technology, heavy equipment, equipment rental, or similarly complex solutions into operational environments.
- Willingness to travel frequently and spend time on customer sites.
- Candidates must substantiate their results with contract values or ranges, annual bookings, quota attainment, and account expansion outcomes. References should be able to verify their direct contribution to negotiating and closing the business. Confidential customer information is not required.
- What strong performance looks like
- Within the first 90 days, you understand the product and customer workflows, have built relationships across your assigned accounts, and have prioritized expansion opportunities with clear next steps.
- By the end of your first year:
- You have delivered against agreed retention and expansion targets.
- Successful deployments have grown into multi-year fleet agreements and additional contracted business.
- Strategic accounts have relationships across site and executive levels, with clear ownership and growth plans.
- Documented customer results support expansion proposals, renewals, and references.
- Your account planning and forecasting practices are ready for additional team members to use.
- Who will thrive here
- You want to own a meaningful revenue target and take responsibility for delivering it. You can earn an executive’s confidence, understand a crew’s workflow, and follow through on the details that get a contract signed.
- You bring ambition and discipline. You pursue large opportunities, qualify them honestly, and make commitments our team can deliver. You are ready to build a function while personally producing results.
