The General Manager of the Generator Division is responsible for the complete operational performance of the generator business. This includes permitting, scheduling, installation, customer communication, job readiness, material management, labor efficiency, quality, cost control, scalability, employee performance and customer satisfaction. This leader owns every generator from the moment a sold job is turned over until the customer has a completed, inspected, operational generator and every outstanding issue is closed. The expectation is not simply to administer the current process. The General Manager must continually challenge the process, find waste, remove bottlenecks, improve installation methods, increase capacity and create a repeatable operating system that can scale during normal demand and extreme demand. Maintain responsibility for every generator installation performed by the Company. Directly own scheduling for every generator installation. Work with estimators to ensure jobs are sold, scoped and ordered correctly before installation. Own all generator installation communication from sold-job turnover through final completion. Continuously reduce installation time while preserving safety, code compliance and quality. Maintain a written surge-capacity plan that allows the division to increase production quickly during extreme demand. Own the continuous reduction of fully loaded installation cost. Ensure generator materials are controlled, accounted for and used efficiently. Measure productivity by installer and crew while maintaining quality. Build a high-performance environment where strong installers want to stay. Lead through the Generator Installation Supervisors and work closely with Conrad Martinez on execution and escalation. Treat every callback as data and eliminate recurring causes. Establish a standardized installation quality-control process. Understand and manage the financial performance of the generator division. What they are looking for: Proven leadership in high-volume field operations, installation, construction, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, generator or comparable home-services operations. Strong scheduling, logistics, process-improvement and customer-service discipline. Comfortable with permitting, inspections, municipality requirements and job closeout processes. Able to read financial and operating data and convert it into field actions. Capable of leading supervisors and tradespeople while maintaining high standards and strong morale. Hands-on, decisive and comfortable working across sales, and operations.
