The Opportunity:
We're looking for a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Escrow Officer to join our dynamic team. This is a key role for a professional who excels in managing complex commercial transactions from open to close and thrives on delivering precision, service, and expertise at every step. You'll work alongside top talent in the commercial real estate space and be empowered to build lasting client relationships, while having the autonomy to lead your files and grow your book of business.
Key Responsibilities:- Open and process new commercial escrow files and title orders in accordance with company and industry standards
- Review purchase and sale agreements, escrow instructions, and other deal documents
- Order and review title evidence and surveys; issue title commitments and pro forma policies
- Address and resolve title objections in collaboration with underwriters and clients
- Draft and balance complex commercial settlement statements and closing documents
- Close and fund transactions while ensuring compliance with all instructions and timelines
- Provide mentorship and support to junior Escrow Officers and team members
- Participate in continuing education and maintain strong industry knowledge and networks
Who You Are:- A licensed Escrow Officer with at least 5 years of commercial title experience (J.D. preferred)
- You bring a transferable and substantial book of business with an active network of commercial real estate professionals
- Deep knowledge of national commercial closing practices and underwriting requirements
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage complex files with accuracy
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong analytical thinker with the ability to solve problems and adapt to shifting priorities
- Experienced in mentoring junior team members and leading with professionalism
