DEPARTMENT/CATEGORY: Cost Center 360JOB TYPE: Pay Group H00903REPORTS TO: Manufacturing ManagerLOCATION: Stuarts Draft, VirginiaPERFORMANCE SUMMARY: The purpose of this position is to safely manufacture copper tubing that meets quality specifications set both internally and by the customer. This will be accomplished chiefly through setting up and operating any and all equipment associated with the cost center listed above, cleaning the work area and equipment and any other assigned duties as deemed necessary by the area supervision.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Operate draw-bench and supporting equipment, crane and wherever needed. Inspection of tube to quality specifications Associate will be expected to use many different forms of measuring tools, including gages, as well as calipers and micrometers to ensure tube complies with internal and external quality standards. Clean up of work area Associate will be expected to maintain a clean and safe work area around the machinery to which they are assigned each day. This cleaning may include, sweeping, mopping, removal of manufacturing by-products, and cleaning of surrounding work areas. Flow to available work Associates will be expected to work in other manufacturing areas as dictated by the flow of new orders. Assignment to other work areas can last for indeterminate periods of time.
