CNC Mill/Lathe Machinist Travelling Contract

Job Description: Job DescriptionOverviewWe are seeking skilled CNC Machinists with 4+ recent years experience operating 4-axis vertical Mills and 2-axis lathes for a 3 month contract onsite in NEW YORK Project Specs: Pay Rate $40/hr 50hrs/week GUARANTEED (OT after 40) $45 per diem (tax-free), 7 days a week Private hotel accommodations (we handle the booking) Must have ITAR Documentation (Passport or Birth Certificate) Must pass a background check and drug test ResponsibilitiesSetup and operate: Okuma and Hardinge CNC lathes. Okuma has Okuma/OSP controllers and the Hardinge lathes have Fanuc controls. These are all 2-axis machines. There are no bar feeders. Okuma vertical mills with Okuma/OSP controllers. These run on 4-axes while 3-axis vertical mill experience is accepted. Setting up and operating machinery, completing quality checks and some deburring Will be setting up WITHOUT setup sheets. All setup is done to print.
