Procurement Specialist

Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance & Operations, Supply Chain Management, or related field

Experience: Target 3-10 years' in a role requiring strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Previous experience in CapEx Project Construction, facilities management, or semiconductor wafer fabrication environments

Job Description: Insight Global is looking for a Procurement Specialist for a leading semiconductor client. This role is responsible for managing end-to-end purchasing and supplier activities, partnering across facilities, manufacturing, planning, and finance to acquire goods and services on time and at competitive costs. The position will lead competitive bidding and sourcing efforts, negotiate commercial terms and contracts, document sourcing decisions, and manage contracts through approval and execution. This person will also oversee supplier performance across cost, schedule, scope, quality, and safety, while processing purchase change orders and resolving supplier issues with internal stakeholders. In addition, the role will help improve procurement processes through data analytics, AI, automation, and digital tools while ensuring compliance with established procurement standards and company values.
