Cardiac Cath Lab & Interventional Radiology Radiologic Technologist

OhioHealth is seeking a Cath Lab/Interventional Radiology Procedural Radiologic Technologist to support advanced cardiac and vascular procedures within our leading not-for-profit healthcare network. In this role, you will perform high-quality fluoroscopic and angiographic imaging, assist physicians during complex interventions, and ensure strict adherence to radiation safety and sterile technique. You will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, provide compassionate patient care, and contribute to continuous learning and quality improvement in a diverse, inclusive environment. Perform and assist with cath lab and interventional radiology imaging procedures per physician orders and protocols. Operate fluoroscopy, angiography, and related imaging equipment safely and effectively. Prepare patients for procedures, explaining steps and ensuring comfort and informed consent support. Monitor patients during procedures and assist with emergency response as needed. Maintain radiation safety standards and apply ALARA principles for patients and staff. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and technologists to coordinate efficient procedural workflows. Verify patient identity, review orders, and document procedures accurately in the medical record. Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment, reporting issues promptly. Manage supplies, contrast media, and sterile instruments in the procedure area. Participate in ongoing education, competency validation, and quality improvement initiatives.
