HVAC Construction Project Manager

Summit Design + Build is actively seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team in Chicago, IL. This role is ideal for someone with strong multi-family construction experience who can lead projects from start to finish and work closely with owners, consultants, and trade partners. Manage all phases of the construction process from preconstruction through closeout Lead internal teams, including Project Engineers and Project Coordinators Maintain constant communication with owners, architects, consultants, and subcontractors Ensure projects stay on track with budgets, schedules, and quality standards Support bid/estimating efforts, manage buyout, and oversee subcontractor selection Lead weekly construction meetings and maintain safety and quality expectations Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or related field~8–10 years of project management experience in multi-family/commercial construction~ Strong multi-family project experience is required~ Experience on large-scale projects (ex: $10M+ / $50M+) is a plus~ Familiarity with the Chicago construction market is a plus~ Strong decision-making skills and ability to manage multiple priorities under deadlines~ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; Work on impactful projects in a fast-growing market~ Competitive salary and full benefits (medical, dental, vision)~S. without current or future visa sponsorship.
