Job Title: Production Team Member Department: 50-Direct Labor
Reports To: Production Supervisor FLSA: Non-Exempt/Hourly
Location: Bement, IL
Pay Range: $ 17.50 Starting with Opportunity for Pay Increases to $20.00
Days: 5am-3:30pm, Monday - Thursday
Job Summary:
Under direct supervision of the Production Supervisors, assembles filters, filter elements and various components of the filters either partially or completely, working on a production line or on the shop floor by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Understand and comply with all Safety Policies and Procedures
- Understand and comply with all Attendance Policies
- Understand and comply with all Dress Code Polices
- Operators are responsible for the quality of their own work
- Operators are responsible for communicating to their supervisor about any issue
- Operators are responsible for recording and reporting scrap accurately
- Operators are responsible for keeping pace in all work areas
- Operators are responsible for learning and understanding safety, quality, cost metrics (SQDC) and how it affects the company
- Operators are responsible for paying close attention to detail
- Operators must be able to adapt to change and rotate to different sections of the facility based off demand
Skills and Requirements:
- Ability to work as a team
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to perform operations using units of measurement, volume, and distance
- Ability to read, understand and follow work instructions (control plan documents)
- Ability to troubleshot and problem solve
- Ability to adapt to change
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to walk, stoop, kneel, and crouch
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to regularly lift or move 50lbs
- Ability to have close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and to adjust focus (Corrective lens are allowed)
- Ability to withstand loud noise levels
- Ability to withstand fumes or airborne particles occasionally
Education and Experience: High School Diploma/GED1-month related experience
