Food Quality Control Inspector (PM Shift)

Job Title: Quality Control Inspector

Department: Quality Assurance

Reports to: Quality Assurance AssistantDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Processing and packaging reviews Pre-op and Operational sanitation plant inspection Assist in plant testing Testing and sampling of products in process and finished items to evaluate product quality andsafety During any change to new packaging or products, review specifications for completeness. Assure that all pertinent information is documented appropriately for incoming materials. Enforce procedures and controls to assure that all products are prepared according to the FWFstandards and specifications. Check equipment calibration. Daily processing and packaging process reviews Ensure conformance to specifications Report problems or concerns to QA Assistant. Daily review of all QA reports, including HACCPMaintain test and troubleshoot all instrumentation devices. Others assignedQUALIFICATIONS:One year of QC inspector food industry experience. High School Diploma or GED required Ability to work in a team environment. Bilingual in English/Spanish Ability to handle multiple tasks. Ability to use best judgment. Computer skills (word, Excel, PowerPoint) Ability to speak effectively before groups of employees Open to working night and weekend.
