Distillation Operator

Pay: $22.00 per hour

Distillation Operator Responsibilities: Operate distillation processes and associated equipment according to standard procedures. Monitor computer readings and manually adjust stills as needed. Perform in-process testing and obtain samples to ensure product quality. Record all production activities in process orders and log books. Properly label, store, and transfer inventory using barcode scanners and SAP.Assist with basic troubleshooting and equipment cleaning as necessary. Follow all safety guidelines and maintain a clean work environment in compliance with GMP, ISO, FSSC 22000, and OSHA standards.

Distillation Operator Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED required. At least 2 years of experience in manufacturing, particularly in distillation or related processes, preferred. Experience with forklifts and barcode scanners is preferred. Basic computer skills required; SAP experience is a plus. Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs. repeatedly. Mechanical aptitude and ability to follow instructions with moderate supervision. Must be able to pass a background check, drug screen, and physical as part of the pre-employment process. Why Zing?
