Director of Customer Marketing: Build Customer Advocacy at a Fast-Growing AI Startup Want to build the customer marketing function from scratch at one of healthcare AI's fastest-growing companies? A well-funded AI healthcare startup is looking for a Director of Customer Marketing & Community to build its customer advocacy engine from the ground up. The company is using AI agents to transform the patient journey, from call centre automation and referrals through to document processing, outreach and payments. You'll turn successful customer outcomes into stories, communities and advocacy programmes that directly influence company growth.
What You'll Do:
🚀 Build Customer Advocacy 0→1 – Create the programmes, infrastructure and processes that turn happy customers into active advocates.🤝 Launch a Customer Advisory Board – Recruit senior healthcare leaders, design the programme and build a genuine executive community.📣 Tell Customer Stories – Develop case studies, testimonials, video content and other proof points that demonstrate real customer impact.🎤 Build a Speaker Programme – Identify and prepare customers for major events, webinars, press opportunities and industry conversations.📈 Drive Commercial Impact – Embed customer evidence across sales, ABM, the website and executive communications, and measure its impact on pipeline. What They're Looking For:
- 7–10 years' experience across B2B customer marketing, customer advocacy or product marketing.
- Experience building customer marketing or advocacy programmes rather than simply inheriting an established function.
- Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to work directly with senior executives and customers.
- A track record of turning customer outcomes into compelling content, references and commercial proof points.
- Comfortable working in a high-growth technology environment where you'll need to build quickly and operate with significant ownership.
- Healthcare or enterprise technology experience is particularly relevant.
